Departures every Friday from early June until mid September.
Travel duration 3 days/3 nights. Vacation price includes transportation and guide for the duration of tour, accommodation in 3 and 4 star hotels with bath/shower and breakfast. 2 dinners. Admission to The Blue lagoon and Reykholt. Pickup and return to Keflavík International Airport.

The tour starts with pickup from Keflavík airport (or hotel) upon arrival. We go directly to the Blue Lagoon, a bright blue mineral-rich swimming pool with geothermally heated water in the middle of a large lava field. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in the Blue Lagoon area.

After breakfast we move on to Skálholt, the site of an ancient bishopric. We drive to the magnificent Gullfoss, the golden waterfall, and Geysir, the geyser from which all other geysers take their name. Here among the numerous hot springs, mud pools and geysers, Strokkur, the world's most active geyser, is likely to spout for us to the heights of 30 meters. We continue to Þingvellir, site of the ancient parliament. Then through the Kaldidalur mountain road and to Langjökull glacier. We have the opportunity to go to the top of Langjökull by ski-doo or snowmobile (not included in price). We have a look at the beautiful Hraunfossar waterfalls before we visit Reykholt, the home of eminent 13th century Saga writer Snorri Sturluson. Then Deildartunguhver, Europe´s most prolific hot spring, and end the day in Borgarnes for dinner and overnight stay.

We drive along the south shore of the Snæfellsnes peninsula to enjoy the seabird colonies and unusual rock formations at Arnarstapi, at the foot of the renowned Snæfellsjökull glacier. We continue along the fascinating west tip of the peninsula. At fishing village Stykkishólmur we have an optional cruise among the islands, skerries and bird colonies of Breiðafjörður bay. Return to Reykjavík to arrive at your hotel ca. 19:00.
