Vesturlands Travel Bureau is a young and energetic travel bureau, in business since 1995. We operate tours all around Iceland at competitive prices, yet maintaining a high standard of service. We only use licenced, educated and competent guides and ous coaches are modern and comfortable. We pride ourselves of our staff, who spare no effort to make sure that our clients are getting the best available service.

In 1996 we introduced the Iceland Express Program, originally only covering West Iceland. This concept of starting the tour immediately upon arrival, covering a lot of ground in a relatively short time, guaranteed departures, good quality and reasonable prices, has been very successful and we have now expanded it into covering most of the popular sights and experiences in Iceland.

As well as the Iceland Express Program, we also offer tailor made tours for groups and individuals. These tours can be of a general nature or with a special interest theme. Photography, Bird Watching, Culture & History, Super Jeep Safaris are among themes that we have successfully introduced on our tours.

Should you decide to extend your stay in Iceland, before or after you have done an Iceland Express Tour, we will be pleased to assist you with accommodation and/or other arrangements.

Reservations, Cancellations & Refunds

Your reservation of the tour of your choice will be confirmed to you upon receipt of a non-refundable confirmation fee of EUR 100. Our cancellation policy is in conformity with business practices within the Icelandic Travel Industry with cancellation fees as follows:

• For cancellations received more than 4 weeks prior to departure the fee is EUR 100 per person.
• For cancellations received less than 4 weeks but more than 3 weeks prior to departure the fee is 25% of the tour price.
• For cancellations received less than 3 weeks but more than 3 days prior to departure the fee is 50% of the tour price.
• For cancellations received within 3 days prior to departure the fee is 100% of the tour price.

Payments

Payments can be made by credit card (VISA; Master Charge) or by bank transfer.

We do not sell or rent our list of customers to anyone.
